Testimonials

Tori Potts was the Beyond Chalk (InciTe Education) representative that assisted staff and students
during the four week ALE at St Michael's College earlier this year. Her involvement certainly led to the experience being a positive one, as Tori was able to offer constructive advice from the first meeting onwards, which enabled staff and students to get the most out of the experience.

Her caring approach and professionalism led to our students to develop a very trusting and secure relationship with Tori very quickly; therefore, they were able to engage fully in the well structured activities that she organised for them. Tori set high expectations for all students and was able to provide demonstrations that all students, in our mixed-ability class, were able to access. Staff at the college found her input to be both valuable and supportive when discussing various pedagogical approaches to fulfil specified student learning outcomes. She certainly dedicated a lot of time, and patience, to ensure staff felt confident in what they were doing, and how it would benefit the students. Towards the end of the 'experience' we organised a 'celebration of learning' for students and parents to attend.

This also provided us with the opportunity raise awareness of the Macbook programme to our wider community. Tori was able to provide support and advice about the content and structure of the event, and we were very pleased that she was also able to attend, meet our parents and answer
